Here are the results of a series of portraits taken with a young woman called Pip Lustgarten in Oxford. We shot these in my living room at Howard Street in early September 1996 using the available artificial spot tungsten lights. She was such an amazing personality and a clearly talented actress and mimic. I was in stitches during the session and there are a lot of pulled faces on the contact sheets. Here are a selection of the more traditional ‘head and shoulders’ images taken in that single session.
