Laura – Portraits (1987)

I am very fond of Laura. She was a wonderfully supportive friend and encouraged me in photography when I began ‘dabbling’ more seriously. She sat for me several times during our university days and each time generated a great atmosphere that made them of my more precious university memories let alone very educative sessions. These are from our first ‘formal’ session. I would take over an art room at Bishop Otter College and drap materials everywhere. lighting was the neon strip lighting (!) with the addition of halogen flood boxes taken from the theatre.
